Description This circa 1880 Kazak Antique Oriental Rug measures 4‘4“ by 9‘0“. The design consists of three octagons in blue, red and yellow green on a red ground. It has an ivory major border with a motif consisting of rectangles in red, terra-cotta, brown, blue, camel, and dark brown with what appear to be champagne glasses attached to them. This is a very interesting border design. This rug is in excellent condition. It is a little bit low in the end with the blue medallion. The minor inside border is known as a wave border or running dog border. The rug is a damn good looking Kazak and reasonably priced. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $75.00.
