Description This mid 20th century Art Deco Chinese Oriental area rug measures 4’5” X by 7’2”. I’m sure the rug is mid 20th century but it’s in a condition of being brand new. I believe this is due to the sleeve that’s sewn on the back. The rug has never been walked on. It has probably lived its entire life on a wall. The motif speaks for itself. Two deer face each other, as a crane flies overhead. A very Deco tree is on a blue ground. This is a hunting scene without a hunter. The inner border is pale blue Greek key design on a dark blue ground. The 6” wide major border is unique. All four sides are different in design. This rug is in mint condition. It is full pile. It is clean and ready to go. The ends and sides are complete. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $75.00.
