The Strokes Long 80 Bubble Chandelier, designed in 2013, is a variation on the original lighting fixture that explores the form and fluidity of the artistic gesture. Working with a select color palette, each glass globe is hand-painted using loose, organic strokes that capture the free and intuitive movement of an artist’s exploratory sketches. Each chandelier is handcrafted to order in PELLE’s Brooklyn-based studio. The airy bubbles are anchored by precision-tooled hardware, finished to a fine quality. The light’s decorative coiling, available in natural cotton and leather cord (with color upgrades available), is meticulously done by a practiced hand. The Strokes Long 80 Bubble Chandelier—characterized by the warmth and qualities of an intricately handmade piece—is available in four lengths: 48, 72, 80, and 96 inches.
