C-Beam riser plates increase the height of the mounting surface each side of the gantry plate. Through the centre of the gantry plate, the height is not raised, this allows for a debris shield to span the whole length of the actuator and attach to the C-Beam end mounts. Adding a debris shield is critical when C-Beam linear actuators are used to create a CNC Milling machine. Getting debris on the acme lead screws and around wheels will affect the operation of the machine. The plates come in a set of two.
