DescriptionHand painted Moorish Spanish antique plate possibly Talavera. The colours are the most beautiful cobalt blue, yellow and green with a somewhat geometric Islamic pattern, hence the Moorish influence. It’s earthenware with a glazed back and no markings but clearly has some age. 29csm across, this is a beautiful and vibrant charger to put on the wall or a cabinet.This lovely Moorish Spanish plate has a couple of tiny glaze defects as shown in photos but it in good vintage condition.
