DescriptionLe Don du Fel bowl, pale blue salt glaze bowl with handles. This is a lovely bowl from the French art pottery Le Don.  It has the usual salt glaze that is synonymous with Le Don du fel earthenware but it’s in an unusual pale blue.  The bowl is 9cms high with a width of 16cms including the handles and is a lovely example of their beautiful art pottery.Le Don du FelThe pottery was founded in 1977 by pottery Suzy Atkins in Le Don in Aveyron, France and has grown from a small pottery workshop into a major European centre for contemporary ceramics. It’s most known for this distinct salt glaze stoneware, of which this piece is a nice vintage example. The site was moved in 2007 as the pottery grew so much from the 1990s and now is housed in a modern facility on the heights of Puech de Cassos.
