Description This first half 20th century Peking Chinese Oriental rug measures 2’ 4” by 4’9”. It has a blue field covered in multi colored squares resembling flowers in 2 shades of blue, purple, and yellow. There is a round center medallion in terracotta with green, blue and yellow flowers. The four corners are terracotta with yellow green and 2 shades of blue flowers. The minor border has an ivory Pearl design on a blue ground. The major border has the same colors and motif as the corners. The rug has an outer border in blue. This rug is full pile. It has complete ends and sides. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $50.00.
